Fairfield Fashion Fizz Success

Fairfield High School hosted its first Fashion Fizz on 6th November, giving the audience a night to remember whilst raising hundreds for sustainable charities Oxfam & Aid Box Community at the same time. The evening included a catwalk fashion show, showcasing vintage/second-hand clothes and accessories, with a silent auction offering the audience an opportunity to freshen up wardrobes/upcycling whilst snapping up some bargains. Also on offer were a raffle, DJ, stalls and bar.

Janice Callow, organiser of Fairfield’s Fashion Fizz and the school’s Strategic Project Lead comments: “I was so excited about holding our first ever Fashion Fizz. Being personally very interested in fashion, I wanted to find an innovative way of ensuring that clothes don’t just end up lost in wardrobes but in fact appreciated far and wide.

“Fairfield’s Fashion Fizz promised - and delivered - an evening of glamour, vitality, fun and, above all, one everyone will be talking about for a long time to come!”

FHS would like to recognise and thank Burges Salmon for its generous donation towards this event; also the support from Tesco, Majestic Wine, Ten Hair, Admiral Photography.
