Which Seeds went into Space?

Well done to all the students and staff who correctly guessed that it was the BLUE (as opposed to RED) seeds that went into space with Tim Peake!

The collected Year 9 data was very variable and it was difficult to see if there were any statistically significant differences between the RED or BLUE seed packets.  Despite this, all but two of the experimental reports submitted by the Year 9s ‘guessed’ correctly that the BLUE seed packet had been stored in space. FHS data has been submitted to the RHS scientists who will analyse it, along with results collected across the country, to see if our inferred differences are significant nationally.  The results will be published in a scientific journal in the Autumn.
