Campfire Building

Imagine being lost in the wild, with nothing to keep you warm at night, and no lighter to make a fire. What would you do? Students from the Australasia group were taught how to use their surroundings to their advantage; using dry leaves, branches, grass and other various flammable objects to make the base of their campfire. Next, they learned the best technique to safely make a spark from flint and steel. Soon, their fires were lit and they sat around them, singing campfire songs, and roasting marshmallows.
