A busy term in the world of Engineering, Technology & Art

The Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Art has a new Director Mr Morgan. As a faculty this year we have made some changes to the Key Stage 3 curriculum to allow a wider spread of subjects to be delivered in a fast and engaging manner. The curriculum has been planned to allow all students access and allows the students to develop skills in key areas over the duration of the key stage.

At GCSE, both Years 10 & 11 Engineering students are progressing well through their controlled assessment of their OCR Manufacture course, developing new skills and knowledge, with deadlines due after the half term break for the Year 11s.

Our Art students had the fantastic opportunity to exhibit their work in the St Werburgh’s Arts Trail. Members of the public were able to enjoy work from our GCSE and Year 9 students.
