FUTURES Research Fair at ‘We the Curious’

On Friday 27th September students from Year 8 participated in the FUTURES Research Fair held at ‘We the Curious’. This was an opportunity for the students to get involved with the interactive exhibits and talk to researchers at the cutting edge of their field to find out how they became involved in a career in Science and Engineering.

It was a great event with some positive feedback from the students:

'During the Futures Fair trip with Bristol University we learnt new things as well as having fun. One of the things we learnt was that if you don't brush your teeth you could get heart disease.'

'We were taught lots of things in a really fun manner. The trip was a great experience and we would love to go again!'

Hopefully this has inspired the next generation of Scientists and Engineers!
