Community rallies round to raise over £27,000

We would like to acknowledge the fantastic efforts of the community who rallied round to raise a fantastic sum of money (£27,023) to help rebuild St Paul’s Adventure Playground, which sadly burnt down recently.

A special mention is attributed to Year 11 students Lataya Plummer for approaching FHS staff to request support, and Stan Jones for setting up the Go Fund Me page. This has affected Stan more so than others, as he was one of those responsible for building the structure during his Work Experience.

The efforts of the whole community should be applauded during this difficult time; we are aware of the Fairfield community’s strong connections with these facilities and would like to acknowledge many of their kind donations.
